Jess Christensen

Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Jess has been with Sweetser Law Office for 8 years she is responsible for answering all the calls that come in to Sweetser Law Office. She does the majority of our intakes and always greets everyone with a bubbly smile and compassion. Jess is responsible for the start-up of all new client files, keeping in touch with clients and gathering all pertinent information among many other responsibilities.

Outside of work, Jess loves to travel and spending time with her husband, Dean, her two amazing children and family. Ironically the Sweetser girls are all related Kizzie and Jess are sisters and Liz is their cousin they work very well together most of the time. “No relation to the Sweetsers’.”

Kizzie B. Johnson

Litigation Paralegal

Kizzie has worked with Mr. Sweetser for since 2001. She is the lead paralegal at Sweetser Law Office and oversees litigation cases. Kizzie is married and has two children- a 17 year-old son who is currently a senior in high school and intends on enlisting in the Marines and an 11 year old son who is in 6th grade. Kizzie enjoys competitive activities and is a sports enthusiast. She enjoys softball, volleyball, board games, and family.

Elizabeth J. York

Legal Assistant

Liz has been with Sweetser Law Office since 2009. She is responsible for summarizing all medical records and bills that come into the office, recognizing any issues with claims, working a file towards demand and closure, updates with insurance adjusters, and filling in when needed for the receptionist. She helps when the litigation paralegal or other legal assistant needs her help.

Liz is the mother of a 15 year old daughter who rules her world. She comes from a very large family and loves to spend time with them. She helps to run their family Facebook page and puts together their various family get-togethers, including their annual family reunion. She loves playing board and card games and is an avid reader.
